 European Archaeology Days (organized by the City of Pornic): Inauguration of the Megalithic Trail and Archistoire  

  On the agenda

To celebrate European Archaeology Days, the City of Pornic invites you to a special morning event dedicated to the richness of its prehistoric heritage.

Join us on Saturday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at the Jardin des Trois Squelettes for a unique opening ceremony:
  • Expert panel: Jean-Marc Large, PhD in archaeology, will shed light on the regional significance of Pornic’s megalithic heritage. He will be joined by Ms. Vasseur, Deputy Mayor for Heritage, and Patrice Morette-Bourny, president of the Mégalithe en Retz (AMER) association.
  • Explore the new trail: discover the three new interpretive panels installed at major sites: the Tumulus des Mousseaux, the Dolmen de la Joselière, and the Dolmen du Prédaire.
  • Digital immersion: witness the launch of the Archistoire app in the Lower Town. With this free app, explore Pornic’s past through interactive content, stories, and anecdotes accessible directly on your smartphone.

Come rediscover Pornic from a new perspective, on a journey combining preserved archaeological sites and innovative digital experiences.
