Delve into the heart of Pornic’s maritime history at this exceptional talk led by Daniel Sicard. Organised by the ADRP (Association for the Protection of the Ria and the Pornic Coastline), this event invites you to trace the evolution of the port of La Noëveillard, a true symbol of the town.

From its origins as a major centre for recreational boating in the 19th century to the creation of the deep-water port in 1971, you will discover the key milestones that have shaped this site. The speaker will also address the challenges associated with its operation, the issue of silting in the Ria, and the implications of the recent renovation project. A fascinating journey spanning more than half a century through the living history of our coastline.
