Megaliths

In the 4th millennium BC, megalithic architecture appeared around the Loire estuary, the characteristics of which reflect an original style: transept tombs.
Their relatively large number in the Pornic region has led prehistorians to consider this area as the epicentre of a cultural group stretching from the Ile d'Yeu to the northern edge of the Brière.
