The Mille Sabords boat, get off to a good start !

The brainchild of Électronique Marine Services [EMS SARL DML 44 approval no. 044008], the Mille Sabords school boat is now an independent structure run by and for enthusiasts of the sea and water sports.

The Mille Sabords boat school offers courses in :

coastal sea licence
deep-sea licence
river licence
CRR

These courses can be organised in the evening or at weekends, and allow you to share our knowledge of the nautical world and pleasure boating.

Our team of competent instructors is on hand to welcome you every day, including weekends and public holidays.
Refresher courses in theory or practice and night-time coaching courses are organised on request all year round, so you can have maximum fun with your family.

On the programme :

E-learning course consisting of 6h30 face-to-face + 2h sailing
Traditional course : 16 hours face-to-face + 2 hours sailing. Sailing from the Port de la Noëveillard in Pornic.
Night coaching courses (reserved for holders of a sea licence) to L'Herbaudière or Pornichet from the YCIP :
- preparation for sailing on the school boat ("Seabooks" by day and night: course to be followed, estimated time to the next change of course)
- Regular surveys of identified landmarks and confirmation with the onboard GPS charting system
- Daytime outward and night-time return to Pornic
- debriefing on these navigations.

You don't need to have any particular knowledge to take a licence, apart from learning to count to 5 for coastal and then 6 for river, and knowing how to answer a simple question: what is the colour of the green light on the starboard side of a ship or aircraft ?

The Mille Sabords boat school is just one of the many activities and leisure facilities in Saint-Michel Chef-Chef presented by the Destination Pornic Tourist Office.
