    Mussel Festival organised by Pornic Rugby Club and Pornic Basket Saint-Michel   

What’s on

Celebrate Bastille Day in the heart of Pornic with this unmissable event, combining local cuisine and festivities:

• From 7pm – Gourmet evening: food stalls open, serving traditional mussels and chips from La Plaine-sur-Mer, a variety of grilled meats (merguez, sausages, nuggets) and crêpes for a sweet treat
• Live music: a concert by the band Gasolin’ to get you singing and dancing all evening  
• Fireworks: at 11 pm, enjoy the traditional 14 July fireworks display launched from the Château footbridge, courtesy of the Town of Pornic.

To make the most of this festive evening, here are a few recommendations:

• Tips: arrive early in the evening to avoid the crowds
• Bring cash, as some stalls do not accept cards
• If you’re not staying locally, book your accommodation in advance, as this is a very popular date
