The Fête de la Moule is the must-attend event of your summer in Tharon-Plage!

Organized by the Océane Football Club, come and join in the fun with music, refreshments, French fries and, of course, mussels!

Spend a convivial moment with family and friends at the traditional mussel festival in Tharon-Plage, where you can sample mussels straight from the shellfish-growing zone in the neighboring commune of La Plaine-Sur-Mer.

You'll be able to eat mussels and French fries, but be warned that there may not be enough for everyone!
Mussels and their sauce, for which only the organizers have the secret recipe, have been victims of their own success for decades!

So don't hesitate to come as early as 6.30pm to make sure you get your share! Otherwise, don't panic...sandwiches, French fries, crêpes and galettes are also on the menu for the day...

Our advice:

if you wish to stay overnight in the commune in July and/or August, book your accommodation well in advance, as it's difficult to find available accommodation at this time of year.
