Presentation

Outing organized by the Hirondelle association in Clion-sur-Mer (Pornic)  
  Liza is a botanist and herbalist, and for decades she has been teaching plant ecology during walks for both the general public and more experienced audiences. Her particular passion is wild, medicinal, and edible plants. What may appear to be simple grass to the untrained eye is transformed into a rich and interesting oasis of biodiversity thanks to Liza's expertise. Kindness, teaching skills, and patience go hand in hand with her vast knowledge, opening up a whole new world that is often overlooked.

  On the program:
  • You will set off to discover wild plants: visual, olfactory, and gustatory discovery.
  • Your guide will tell you about their properties and how to use them.
  • A tasting is planned at the end of the session... if you're good!

Learning to recognize and eat wild plants also means learning to look at our everyday landscape in a different way. You'll never see a dandelion the same way again!
