  What’s on

The Éco-Domaine La Fontaine is opening its open-air theatre for a special theatrical performance, in partnership with the theatre company Les LéZ’Arts.

Discover *Les Tristes*, based on the work of Ovid. This production recounts the letters written in exile by the Latin poet, who was banished by Emperor Augustus to the shores of the Black Sea. Led by actor Yann Rivoal and directed by Thierry Glon, the script skilfully blends everyday life in ancient Rome with the melancholy and self-deprecating humour of an exile who has lost none of his quirks. A literary and theatrical journey that alternates between compassion and laughter.

  • Note: this performance is not suitable for children
  • Times: doors open at 6.30 pm for audience members to take their seats in the open-air theatre. The performance begins at 7 pm
  • Venue: Outdoor theatre
  • Admission: free
  • Weather note: performance cancelled in the event of bad weather or changeable conditions
