Pornic Charities Fair

What’s on

With the start of the new school year approaching, come and discover the rich variety of local life at this 34th edition! The Forum brings together 135 stalls run by organisations from Pornic (sport, culture, social initiatives, leisure, the environment and children’s activities), as well as several municipal services.

• Meet-ups and sign-ups: chat with volunteers, find your activities for the year and sign up straight away on the day
• The municipal and institutional village: visit the Armel de Wismes media library (which has recently introduced free membership), the municipal music school, the Thomas Narcejac amphitheatre, the CCAS, the youth services and the inter-municipal tourist office (open from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm)
• Demonstrations and taster sessions (Yves Loquet Hall from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm):
  • 10.00 am: Light Up Dance Fit (Créa Scène Océan) and self-defence taster session (Equilib’Retz)
  • 10.30 am: dance demonstration (Danse Retz Vous) and smash challenge and obstacle course (Pornic Badminton)
  • 11.00 am: darts demonstration (Pornic Darts Compétition) and introduction to/demonstration of aikido (Académie Pornicaise d’Aïkido)
  • 11.30 am: singing and instrumental demonstration (Feel Free)
  • 12.00 pm: karate demonstration (Sen No Sen Karaté)
  • 12.30 pm: immersive dance performance (Les Impromptues)
•   Volunteering: easily identify organisations looking for volunteers – whether for one-off or regular commitments – thanks to dedicated signage
• Sports voucher: information on the local authority scheme to support sporting activities for young people born in or after 2008
