Presentation

A heritage interpretation trail focusing on the megaliths of Pornic is available in the town, featuring information panels and a digital app.
This heritage interpretation trail is made up of three explanatory panels installed at three archaeological sites open to the public.

These metal supports are located :
Each panel includes illustrations, old photographs, and commentary. 

A parallel tour is also available on the Archistoire application, with interactive content.

The aim of this hybrid reality digital tour is to make the megaliths accessible to everyone through an immersive experience, whilst also exploring three private sites (the Motte burial mound, the Lionne dolmen and the Monval dolmen).
Historical photographs, reconstructions and characters bring this past to life.
The app highlights points of interest by revealing hidden or lost details corresponding to the six stops on this mobile app tour.


 Our favourites :
  • The Mousseaux burial mound, a must-see megalithic monument in the commune, is situated on the hill overlooking the Noëveillard.

 Please note: the final section of this route follows the customs officers’ path, which is not open to cyclists.
