The famous Pornic race! Get ready for an unforgettable sporting experience by taking part in this event! The race has been organized since 1995 by the CJAC Côte de Jade Athletic Club.
 On the program

Get your running shoes ready! Whether you're a Sunday jogger or a seasoned athlete, the “Courir à Pornic” event invites you to discover the seaside town from a sporty and friendly perspective.
With more than 600 participants in the previous edition, the atmosphere promises to be electric on the quays!

There are two routes to choose from to explore the pearl of the Jade Coast:
  • The 1.5 km: Galopade – Athletic Awakening, ages 2015 to 2019 (no registration, no rankings). Start at 11:15 a.m.
  • The 3 km: A “fun” format accessible to all. Ideal for beginners, families, or those who want to warm up without pressure. The added bonus? It's completely free! Start at 10:45 a.m.
  • The 10.6 km: A more demanding route for those who love a challenge, with an elevation gain of 141 meters. Start at 9:30 a.m.

 
  The route: The race will start in front of the Quai de l'Herminier garden. You will then cross the green setting of the Ria, skirt the bustling Quai Leray (passing in front of the famous Fraiseraie!) before tackling the final challenge: Rue de la Source. You will have to climb this hill three times, facing the train station and the Tourist Office, to head towards the Thalasso.
  Practical information:
  • Starting point: Quai de l’Herminier, Pornic
  • Safety: Registration implies compliance with race instructions. Mandatory equipment (details provided upon registration) is required to ensure everyone's safety.
  • After the race: Take advantage of your visit to admire the Château de Pornic overlooking the harbor entrance, a well-deserved visual reward after crossing the finish line!
