Presentation

SCEA Charpentier, based in La Plaine-sur-Mer, specialises in direct sales of bouchot mussels under the "La Plainaise" brand.
Romain Charpentier and his team offer seafood lovers direct sales at "Le Marais" shellfish farm in La Plaine-sur-Mer.

3 good reasons to buy mussels from SCEA Charpentier :
  • Local quality production: the mussels are grown near Pornic, in the Atlantic Ocean, which guarantees freshness and an authentic iodised flavour.
  • Sustainable cultivation: the company uses the traditional bouchot method, which respects the environment and allows the mussels to grow naturally.
  • A real pleasure to eat: fresh mussels are delicious and can be prepared in many different ways... from traditional mussels in marinière sauce to more creative dishes. What's your favourite recipe?

Where can you find SCEA Charpentier mussels?
  • Direct sales from mid-June to the end of September, every day from 9am to 12pm, at the Marais shellfish farm in La Plaine-sur-Mer.
  • You can try "La Plainaise" mussels in any of the region's good restaurants!
