My Italian cousin – by the Pornic twinning association  

   What’s on
  • ‘My Italian Cousin’, the story of a Calabrian in France. Come and enjoy a colourful show in French, with a thick Italian accent! Led by actor and musician Stefano Mauro, the show brilliantly alternates between theatre, songs and a humour-filled yet informative Italian lesson, not to mention some superb moments dedicated to the Calabrian dialect.
  • The story: Pepe Mauro sets off in search of his cousin across Italy and France: “One day, my cousin told me, ‘It’s all over. Then he left and I’ve never seen him since…’
  • A journey filled with laughter and emotion: This one-man show (or solo performance) explores the history of Italian emigration, skilfully balancing clichés, tenderness and self-deprecation. A beautiful reflection on life’s paths: who do we meet at the end of the road?
