Come and discover stand-up paddling at La Cormorane in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef. We'll show you the beautiful Loire Atlantique coastline. The Criques de la Côte de Jade and the fisheries seen from the sea will fill you with wonder !

If you're not familiar with stand-up paddling, it's high time you discovered this water sports activity !
Stand-up paddling involves standing on a board propelled by a paddle. It's becoming increasingly popular, and offers a host of benefits for both body and mind.
For the body :

a complete physical activity : SUP works the whole body, particularly the muscles of the back, shoulders, arms, abdominal muscles, legs and buttocks.
burns calories: a one-hour paddling session can burn up to 500 calories.
improves balance: the need to remain stable on the board means you have to work on your balance.
Strengthens joints : SUP is a gentle sport that doesn't traumatise the joints.

For the mind :

a relaxing activity : the calm of the water and the sensation of gliding allow you to relax and recharge your batteries.

You can go paddling on your own, as a couple or in a group (you can hire a giant paddle for 6 people!). It's an excellent opportunity to meet new people and share some friendly moments at the Centre Nautique de la Cormorane. Last but not least, it's an activity that's accessible to all, and a great way to discover nature in a different way.

The little extra : Supervised outings of one hour are available on request in July and August : a sunset stroll through the fisheries.
