La Déferlante: “Piano Rubato” – circus and classical music by the Happés Company   

  What's on

Embark on a poetic and mysterious journey on the edge of the tangible. With Piano Rubato, aerial artist Mélissa Von Vépy and musician Stéphan Oliva invite you aboard a unique piano-boat. Of this living sculpture, only the outlines remain—a skeletal framework reminiscent of the boats of great myths, from the Flying Dutchman to ancient Egypt.

Brought to life by the acrobat’s breath and the pianist’s notes, this vessel explores a space suspended between the world of the living and the invisible. A timeless moment where air and water merge, leaving room only for sound, movement, and emotion.
