Presentation

Ewen and Gwenaël welcome young and old alike to discover the animals at the Puillière pedagogical Farm in Port-Saint-Père, between Nantes and Pornic.
These 2 brothers raise goats and pigs on their family farm, which has been awarded the Organic Farming label.
 
In a fun and friendly atmosphere, curious youngsters can share in the day-to-day life of the farmers through guided tours and themed workshops. The life of the goats will hold no secrets for you!

On the programme for the "Milking time on the farm" guided tours: 
  • take the herd of goats from the meadow to the farm, accompanied by the adorable dog Django,
  • watch the pretty goats being milked, 
  • feed the impatient pigs,
  • understand how an organic farm works.
 
The programme includes guided tours of the farm and themed workshops:
  • a themed activity adapted to the season: making cheese, turning wheat into flour, chestnut hunting...
  • a tasty farm snack,
  • a walk to bring in the herd of goats with Django,
  • a special place to watch milking.

A little something extra:
The intrepid can try their hand at milking a goat, while the more affectionate can stroke the goats or pigs.

Days, times and prices of visits:
  • Guided tour, for all, on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5.30pm, outside school holidays, €4 for children and €6 for adults.
  • Guided tour with themed workshop, for all, on Wednesdays from 2pm to 5:30pm during all school holidays, €7 for children and €12 for adults.
  • Visits for groups are possible from Monday to Friday, by booking directly via the Tourist Office's "Groups & Seminars" service.

  • Booking required, by telephone or e-mail.
  • Payment on site, in cash or by cheque.

The Puillière educational farm is one of the many activities in Port-Saint-Père presented by the Destination Pornic Tourist Office.
