M.O.L.I.E.R.E. (A Free-Spirited Oratorio Inspired by Wanderings Through the Eponymous Playwright’s Repertoire) by the Compagnie Grand Tigre.

Discover an original and lively journey through the life and works of Molière on Friday 13 November 2026 at 8.30 pm at the Théâtre St Gilles.

The show is based on a clever concept: recounting Molière’s life story by having historical figures (his father, Louis XIV, Racine, doctors and courtiers) speak solely through the words, monologues and lines taken from his own plays.

Performed by three actors and a musician, the production straddles the line between the burlesque, the poetic and the off-the-wall, offering a modern, madcap and irreverent work that shatters the rigidity of the literary myth.
