Guided tour of the heritage orchard – Fruit-growing heritage in the Pays de Retz   

 What’s on

Come and discover a true haven of greenery and biodiversity during the European Heritage Days! The ‘Mémoire fruitière en Pays de Retz’ association invites you to a guided tour of its heritage orchard.
  • Explore the orchard: take a stroll through a 3,400 m² area home to 150 heritage varieties of fruit trees and 300 shrubs
  • Chat with enthusiasts: the association’s volunteers will be on hand to tell you about their work and the key challenges involved in preserving heritage fruit varieties
  • Sharing and advice: make the most of their expertise to ask any questions you may have about growing, tending and preserving this unique botanical heritage
