Le sens des Simples, a small, family-run business, invites you to a unique immersion in the heart of its lush garden. Let Mathilde, a passionate expert with ancestral know-how, guide you as you discover the secrets of growing, harvesting, and drying aromatic and medicinal plants.

A visit for an enriching experience 
Every Thursday morning, from mid-June to late August, join a guided tour and learn about the fascinating craft of the herbalist farmer. A golden opportunity to:
  • stroll through an extraordinary garden and admire the diversity of plants grown there.
  • learn to identify plants and discover their medicinal and aromatic properties.
  • understand the different stages of production, from cultivation to processing.
  • meet Mathilde and benefit from her valuable advice and anecdotes.

A sensory and enjoyable experience!    

More than just a chance to discover plants, this tour is an invitation to relax and awaken your senses. Enjoy the garden’s intoxicating scents, watch the pollinating insects, and let yourself be swept away by the peaceful atmosphere of the place.

  • Directions: Enter “Les Simples” into your GPS (there are several places called Les Nouettes in Pornic!), and meet at the first chalet to begin the tour
  • The shop is open on Thursdays from 11:20 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Parking nearby at the site entrance; parallel parking; accessible parking at the end of the road
