The Fun Club de la Joselière, a friendly sailing club, offers catamaran rentals (1-3 people).

The Joselière Fun Club in Pornic, located on the beautiful Joselière beach, has been specialising in water-based leisure activities for over 30 years. It has a large fleet of Hobie Cat 16 catamarans, sea kayaks and Stand Up Paddle. The club offers rental services to suit all levels of knowledge and experience.

Sailing a catamaran offers a unique experience and sensations that are different from those of other types of boat: stability, speed, the feeling of gliding, direct contact with the ocean and serenity.

Catamarans have two hulls, as opposed to a single hull like traditional sailing boats. This design gives them exceptional stability on the water, considerably reducing the boat's heel even in windy conditions. Unlike monohulls, catamarans tend to stay flatter, offering a feeling of safety and comfort.
Catamarans are generally faster than many other types of boat. Their twin-hull design reduces drag in the water, allowing the catamaran to glide more easily over waves and increase speed. The sensation of the wind in the sails and the rapid movement through the water can be exhilarating!

When the catamaran reaches sufficient speed, it can sometimes seem as if it is gliding over the water rather than cutting through it. This sensation of lightness and speed can be quite exhilarating for passengers.
Because of their design, the trampolines between the hulls often offer spectacular views and very close contact with the water. Passengers can sometimes see the water beneath them as they sail, creating an immersive experience.
When sailing a catamaran, especially in good weather conditions, the sensation of gliding smoothly over the water can be incredibly relaxing. The combination of the sea breeze, the soothing motion of the boat and the ocean landscape can create a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

The Fun Club also offers guided outings, adapted to your level and wishes, to discover the coast from the sea.
The Club provides wetsuits, lifejackets and trapeze belts. Just bring a pair of waterproof shoes!
In addition to its rental activities, the club works to revitalise the Joselière beach, ensure a certain level of safety for other users of the slipway (fishermen, bathers, sailors) and forge links with private individuals who drop off their boats for the summer (the slipway is free and open to all).
