For an original evening, join our storytellers from Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, who will amaze (or frighten!) you with their legendary tales, some of which are very old...

Long before the advent of cinema, television and other modern distractions, evenings spent by the fireside were filled with fantastic stories, legendary tales and tales passed down orally, sometimes for centuries.

People would gather to listen to the storyteller, who often knew many stories that had some truth to them, but more often than not were simply tales learned from their ancestors. A few storytellers continue to keep the tradition alive, including Jacotte and Didier  two storytellers from very different worlds. They are here to bring back the sensations of another era, when these stories fed the imagination of a sometimes gullible public!

  On the programme:

• the Terres Rouges nature reserve offers an idyllic setting for discovering the tales and stories of yesteryear
• Jacotte brings with her tales gleaned from various regions of France
• Didier, who has a passion for Brittany, has drawn heavily on the legends of the western peninsula.
• from slightly different worlds, these tales appeal to young and old alike
• miracles, adventures and exploits are all part of these tales.

• duration approx. 1h30
• bring a folding seat
• take a flashlight
• meet in the car park before the first-aid post
