Presentation

 Come one, come all to discover the different environments of this protected area in a fun and sensory way. Thickets, cliffs, moors, dunes and beaches await you.
'Les Terres Rouges' owes its name to the pink to red colour of the micaschist cliffs. It lies to the south of the Loire estuary in the commune of Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, near Tharon-Plage.
Its 600m of cliffs overlook the pretty Gohaud beach.

The Terres Rouges site is made up of a mosaic of environments: beach, cliff, perched grey dune, small woodlands and meadows. In the heart of this typical rocky coastal landscape, we'll be observing dune plants and shore swallows 

This outing is offered by the Loire Atlantique department and is recommended for children aged 8 and over.
