Pêcheurs d'instants: a walking tour of Pornic to take you back in time.

Fancy a sunny

stroll to discover Pornic's maritime heritage ?
If so, the Pêcheries trail is for you! Meet the old fishermen of the region and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this bustling port.

A journey through time dotted with hidden treasures :

Start your adventure in the Gourmalon garden, and let yourself be charmed by this green haven of peace and enjoy the breathtaking view over the ria.
Follow the customs path along Pornic's wild coastline. Admire the sheer cliffs and turquoise coves, and imagine the smugglers who once roamed these steep paths.
Discover the fishing huts built by fishermen to store their nets and equipment.
Follow the path to the Prédaire and Joselière dolmens, mysterious megaliths dating back to the Stone Age.
Then head off to the Boutinardière beach to soak up the sun and sea. On the way back, take in the setting of the Fontaine aux Bretons, a freshwater spring much appreciated by the inhabitants of Pornic ⛲️.
You can also enjoy the charm of the quiet lanes of La Joselière and La Birochère, former fishing hamlets steeped in history.
Finally, once you reach the top of the Chemin de la Corderie, admire the superb panorama over the Pornic ria - a wonderful way to end your walk!
